Aligners are thin clear flexible plastic 'mouthguards' which fit closely over the teeth. A series of aligners is used to move the teeth incrementally according to a treatment plan developed by the orthodontist.

Universal Aligners are made with Essix PLUS, it last longer, look clearer, resist stains and perform better, enhancing compliance for improved retention.

3How does the process work?

Process consists of 3 steps

  1. A digital scan using an intraoral scanner (a scanner that goes in your mouth).
  2. A model of the teeth is 3D printed for each stage of the treatment.
  3. Once the models are printed, the aligners can be fabricated. A sheet of thin thermoplastic material is heated to forming temperature then applied to the mould to take the shape of the teeth.
